P’tit Belliveau

P'tit Belliveau

Nova Scotia - Pop/Electro/Country/Folk
Jonah Richard Guimond was 11 years old when he found a guitar in his parents' closet. And without knowing it, he had just given birth to P'tit Belliveau. Since then, the singer-songwriter, originally from the francophone community of Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova Scotia, has approached music with the same candid and slightly out-of-touch approach.

- We conjugate English verbs as if they were French verbs

- Sometimes verbs are used that are not correct for the case, but often the meaning is clear from the context (I hope). Sometimes normal verbs are also conjugated in a strange way.

- Sometimes, instead of using "we" for collective verbs, we use « j’ » (example: j’amenons = on amène ou nous amenons)
