Emilie Landry

New-Brunswick — Country/folk/pop

Émilie Landry sows words like flowers that adorn the flowerbeds of life. She feeds off the fertile ground provided by the encounters she has with the seasons and describes her adventures with a certain emotional maturity that leaves room for humor and self-derision. On her country-pop-folk tunes, her intensity and sensitivity are palpable thanks to her exceptional voice. In the company of guitarist Samuel Robidoux, Émilie has blossomed, transmitting her joy of living and her love for life to both the general public and schoolchildren.

Let the show begin

The show " Arroser les fleurs " (Watering the Flowers) offers elementary and high school students the opportunity to discover a broad spectrum of personal emotions, while becoming aware of their impact on our surroundings. During her concert, the artist addresses themes such as loneliness, resilience, love, freedom, well-being, remorse, adventure, determination and hope.

During her show, Émilie Landry likes to invite young people to sing a chorus and allows them to stretch their legs by dancing during the last song! This approach allows them to gain confidence in the development of their identity quest.

For older students, the concert can be followed by a question-and-answer session with the artist (prepared in advance by the teachers and students), an effective way for even the most shy students to express themselves.

To extend the experience, the artist offers three types of workshops, all adapted to the age and level of the students. These privileged moments with the singer-songwriter have as key words: discovery, sharing, identity building, self confidence...

" Arroser les fleurs " is an ode to hope, the one that in the fog reaches out to us with the promise of harvesting the most beautiful flowers of life.
